1. What is Parkour or Freerunning and what does the training involve?
Parkour is a relatively new physical discipline, a unique way to develop all aspects of one's body, including strength, balance, flexibility, agility, stamina and control. At its heart, Parkour is the Art of Motion, the most effective way to get from point A to B. Find out more about the Parkour classes here.
2. What does mixed martial arts (MMA) training involve?
The mixed martial arts are a modern method of combining several types of fighting arts into a very effective, well rounded training system. It uses smooth transitions between striking, take-downs and grappling to maximize effectiveness in self-defense. Find out more about the mixed martial art classes here.

4. Makeup Classes and Schedule Change
- Makeup any class within 3 weeks of the missed date on the Members page
- Change schedule as often as you'd like on the Members page
5. Tuition, Vacations and Refunds
- Tuition is charged every 4 weeks on the card on file
- For missing more than 2 weeks, submit vacations online on the Members page at least 2 weeks in advance
- During vacation time, card on file is charged $15/month to maintain Membership
- Refunds are offered only in the form of account credit that can be used for training or merchandise
6. Private Classes
- 30 minute private class $85 ($10 for additional participants)
- 1 hour private class $135 ($15 for additional participants)
- Private classes can be cancelled or rescheduled with 24 hour notice
4. What should I bring and wear to my first class?
It’s best to wear shorts and a t-shirt for your first class, or anything that you can comfortably move in. Additionally, it is a good idea to bring a bottle of water and athletic shoes (for the Parkour class only). Don’t forget to fill out the online waiver. If you intend to fill it out at Olympia, please arrive at least 15 minutes early.
5. What skill level are the classes for?
Olympia Training Center welcomes all levels of participants. Most drills and exercises have progression levels and can be performed by an expert or an absolute beginner. The instructors will make sure that the training is always challenging, yet achievable.
6. How old do you have to be to train at Olympia Training Center?
We have students of all ages training with us. Our youth program is appropriate for ages 5 to 12, while our teen and adult classes are for teens and adults of any age. To date, our oldest student was 64 and she did a fantastic job improving her physical abilities.
7. What safety precautions are used to keep the training safe?
The most important safety precaution is the proper training instructions of the coach. Our coaches have over 50 years of combined experience and know how to avoid the major risk factors. Additionally, we use spotting blocks, crash pads, foam pits, gloves, helmets, footpads, hitting bags and other equipment to create a safe training atmosphere.
8. Members Page Help: How do I change my schedule, register for tests and view my billing?
All changes to your membership (including scheduling, testing and billing) are made in your Members page online. The Olympia staff can assist you in making those changes, but are not permitted to do so on your behalf. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the Members page, watch the help video and ask any questions that you may have.

9. Does Olympia work with charter schools?
Yes, Olympia is currently a vendor for Cabrillo Point, Pacific Coast, Mission Vista, iLead, Scale Academy, Excel Academy, Citrus Spring, Empire, Sage Oak, Granite Mountain, Epic, Summit Academy and Sky Mountain. If you are with a charter, please read the Charter School Guidelines here.

11. Does Olympia Training Center host special events, such as private classes, specialty training or birthday parties?
